* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Canoochee River near Claxton. * WHEN...Until Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, Hillside Drive, the main access road into Canoochee Properties, will be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 915 AM EDT Thursday, the stage was 13.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Sunday morning and continue falling to 9.5 feet Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

The lower portion of Johnson Road near Herndon is also flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 945 AM EDT Thursday, the stage was 6.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 6.7 feet Friday evening. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday afternoon. - Flood stage is 6.0 feet.

Davis Landing Road also becomes impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 945 AM EDT Thursday, the stage was 10.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 11.9 feet Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
