At 1148 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Weiner, or 14 miles northwest of Harrisburg, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Jonesboro, Bono, Lake City, Bay, Brookland, Weiner, Cash, Waldenburg, Greenfield, Hergett, Apt, Valley View, Gum Point, Farrville, Uno, Cary, Lache Lake, Herndon, Pitts, and Poplar Ridge.

Gas fields are also subject to flooding downstream. Equipment and livestock should be moved to higher ground. Access roads to oil and gas rigs may be flooded. Levee gates should be closed before the river reaches 80 feet. There is minor flooding at this level. At 80.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs at this level. Levee gates should be closed to prevent the river from backing into Calion Lake. Access to oil and gas rigs and to timber is flooded.
