At 1148 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Weiner, or 14 miles northwest of Harrisburg, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Jonesboro, Bono, Lake City, Bay, Brookland, Weiner, Cash, Waldenburg, Greenfield, Hergett, Apt, Valley View, Gum Point, Farrville, Uno, Cary, Lache Lake, Herndon, Pitts, and Poplar Ridge.

Move livestock to higher ground. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 12.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:00 PM CDT Tuesday was 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.1 feet early Thursday afternoon. Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam affecting Logan, Johnson and Franklin Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam. * WHEN...Until Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 357.0 feet, flooding affects agricultural use lands along the river downstream of the lock and dam in Franklin County. Gas fields are also subject to flooding downstream. Equipment and livestock should be moved to higher ground. North 5th Street in Logan County near the Six Mile Levee begins to flood and may cut off access to a nearby residence. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 355.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 356.9 feet Thursday morning. - Action stage is 355.5 feet. - Flood stage is 357.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

For the Ouachita River...including Jones Mill DCP, Arkadelphia, Camden, Thatcher L&D...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ouachita River at Thatcher L&D. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 79.0 feet, Property in low lying areas needs to be removed. Access roads to oil and gas rigs may be flooded. Levee gates should be closed before the river reaches 80 feet. There is minor flooding at this level. At 80.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs at this level. Levee gates should be closed to prevent the river from backing into Calion Lake. Access to oil and gas rigs and to timber is flooded. There is wide coverage of flooding in the river bottoms. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 79.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 80.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday May 8). - Flood stage is 79.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
