* WHAT...Flooding caused by last week's rainfall continues, especially in the Chaires, Capitola, and Baum communities of eastern Leon County. * WHERE...Eastern Leon County in the Florida Big Bend. * WHEN...Until 200 PM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Several roads remain closed due to flood waters remain on or near roadways in eastern Leon County. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 148 PM EDT, Leon County Emergency Management reported continued flooding in the Capitola, Chaires, and Baum communities of eastern Leon County. Flood waters remain, but are slowly subsiding. Several roads remain closed due to water on or very near the roadway. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Water begins to flood Vicky Guynn Way in Lafayette County. In Gilchrist County, flooding affects areas between the river and NW 72nd Way. Flooding expands considerably around NW 73rd Way and NW 82nd terrace. Much of NW 6th street is flooded. Residences begin to be affected near SW 77th Avenue. The next statement will be issued Wednesday morning at 1115 AM EDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Santa Fe River at Three Rivers Estates. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Lowland flooding begins on SW Santa Fe Drive south of Santa Fe Road in Columbia County. At 16.3 feet, Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission begins enforcement of a no wake zone on the Santa Fe River from the unnamed island 1.5 miles downstream of the Wilson's Spring Boat Ramp to the confluence with the Suwannee River and on the Ichetucknee River upstream to the US 27 bridge. At 17.0 feet, Water begins to enter backyards of residences on Santa Fe Road in Columbia County and on River Run Road in Suwannee County. At 18.0 feet, Water begins to flood River Run Road in Suwannee County.
