West Fork Trinity River Near Jacksboro affecting Jack County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...West Fork Trinity River near Jacksboro. * WHEN...Until tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Moderate flooding along the river reach is expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 24.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this evening and continue falling to 7.1 feet Saturday morning.

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following counties, Brazoria, Fort Bend and Harris. * WHEN...Until 1100 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 759 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 600 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. Areas of fog have developed across portions of South Texas this morning. Inland locations are generally seeing visibilities at or below 2 miles with a few locations seeing visibilities down to a 1/2 mile or less at times. Closer to the coast, visibilities will be around the 2 to 3 mile range, though some patchy fog with visibilities less than a mile is still possible. Use caution if traveling as visibility may change rapidly in a short amount of time. Use low beam headlights and leave extra distance between your vehicle and others on the road.

Red River near Gainesville affecting Love and Cooke Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Red River near Gainesville. * WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Low-lying fields... upstream in western Love County in Oklahoma... and Cooke County in Texas... may experience shallow overflows several hours before the crest reaches the Interstate Highway I-35 crossing north of Gainesville. Sandpit operations may be affected. Livestock and other property should be removed to places which are higher than nearby river banks to avoid being stranded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 22.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet. - Forecast...The Red River is expected to rise to a crest of 23.5 feet this afternoon. - Action stage is 22.0 feet. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
