Missouri River at Plattsmouth affecting Mills and Cass Counties. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Nebraska...Missouri... Missouri River At Brownville affecting Nemaha and Atchison Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Missouri River at Plattsmouth. * WHEN...From late tonight to late Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Minor flooding is occurring in the parking lots near the gauge site and boat ramp. In addition, a private camping area just upstream of the gauge site begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 23.6 feet...or 2.4 feet below flood stage. - Bankfull stage is 26.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 27.1 feet tomorrow evening.
