At 826 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Jordan Township to near Mancelona to near Sharon. Movement was northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Petoskey, Boyne City, Gaylord, East Jordan, Grayling, Mancelona, Conway, Sharon, Elmira, Frederic, Alanson, Vanderbilt, Boyne Falls, Sigma, Warner Township, Young State Park, Reasoners Corner, Alba, Horton Bay, and Clarion.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northern Michigan, including the following counties, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Manistee and Wexford. * WHEN...Until 1015 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 712 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
