At 659 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Stockville, or 14 miles southeast of Curtis, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of western Gosper and western Dawson Counties, including the following locations... Farnam. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 209 and 232.

Curtis, Moorefield, Stockville, Medicine Creek Reservoir State Recreation Area, Quick, Orafino, Willow View Campground, Freedom, and Dancing Leaf Earth Lodge. This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 27 and 32.
