The James River continues to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 418 AM CDT, Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen across the James River basin over the last 24 hours. This has caused the James River to reach flood stage in east Springfield. Additional rainfall will move into the area this morning, likely causing additional rises. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
