Red Chute Bayou At Sligo affecting Bienville and Bossier Parishes. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Red Chute Bayou at Sligo. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 31.0 feet, Expect extensive flooding in between the levee systems. Livestock should be moved to higher ground away from Red Chute Bayou. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 31.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 29.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:15 PM CDT Monday was 31.2 feet. - Forecast...While a slow fall will continue on Red Chute Bayou at Sligo tonight, a slow rise is expected Monday with Red Chute Bayou cresting near 33 feet late Tuesday. - Flood stage is 31.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 31.1 feet on 04/03/2018. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
