Flood Advisory issued September 20 at 7:25PM CDT until September 20 at 8:45PM CDT by NWS Brownsville TX

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of Deep South Texas, including the following county, Hidalgo. * WHEN...Until 845 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 725 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Pharr, South McAllen, Pharr Fire Station Three, J.c. Kelly Elementary School, Las Milpas, South Pharr Elementary School, Garcia Elementary School, Tierra Del Sol Golf Course, Valley View Junior High School, Pharr Police Academy, Valley View Elementary School, P S J A High School, San Juan Middle School, Orangewood East, Mayfield Park, Carman Elementary School, Fairway Grande, Chateau Heights, Country Club Terrace and Rio Grande Regional Hospital. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
