The Flood Advisory will expire at 4 PM AST this afternoon for Arecibo. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Barceloneta, Ciales, Florida, Manati and Morovis. * WHEN...Until 445 PM AST. * IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 247 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
