* WHAT...North winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts to around 60 mph. * WHERE...Oglala Lakota County, including portions of the Pine Ridge Reservation, Custer Co Plains, Pennington Co Plains, and Southern Meade Co Plains. * WHEN...Until 6 PM MDT this evening. * IMPACTS...The high winds may damage roofs, small outbuildings, and signs. Power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Strong winds can cause blowing dust, reduced visibility, and flying debris.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central South Dakota, including the following county, Jones. * WHEN...Until 515 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1122 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
