For the Tombigbee River...including Coffeeville Dam, Leroy...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Tombigbee River near Leroy. * WHEN...From late Saturday night until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, flooding of low lying farm and pasturelands begins. Cattle in low lying areas should be moved to higher ground. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 19.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Sunday morning and continue rising to a crest of 25.0 feet Monday evening. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Livestock should be moved to higher ground. Old Ferry Road near the river begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 25.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Sunday morning to a crest of 30.0 feet Monday morning. Cattle are cutoff in lowlands of Southern Pickens County at stages above 122 feet. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 125.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 6:00 PM CDT Friday was 126.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Sunday morning and continue falling to 112.6 feet Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 122.0 feet.
