Flash Flood Warning issued May 2 at 12:41PM CDT until May 2 at 4:30PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

At 1241 PM CDT, While heavy rainfall has ended for the time being... additional moderate to heavy rainfall is possible this afternoon. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have already fallen. Runoff from earlier rainfall will continue to result in flooding the next few hours. Law enforcement reported a portion of 363rd Street has been washed out between Hedge Lane and Victory Road. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Louisburg, Fontana, New Lancaster and Beagle.

At 1231 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Le Roy to 7 miles southwest of Toronto. Movement was north-northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down twigs or small limbs and blow around objects. Minor damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Burlington, New Strawn, Gridley, Le Roy, and John Redmond Reservoir.

It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
