Special Weather Statement

Special Weather Statement issued February 26 at 9:00AM EST by NWS Indianapolis IN

An abnormally warm airmass in combination with dry lower layers will lead to Relative Humidity levels below 25 percent this afternoon. This along with sustained winds between 12-17 MPH will create favorable conditions for rapid growth of fire. Outdoor burning is discouraged. Burning embers can blow around easily and catch grass on fire.
