* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Santee River near Jamestown. * WHEN...From this morning until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, several dirt logging roads are impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1230 AM EST Tuesday, the stage was 9.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this morning and continue rising to 12.4 feet Saturday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

Satellite, surface observations and webcam images show fog is spreading inland from roughly the Savannah Metro Area north to Beaufort and Hilton Head early this morning. The fog will likely become fairly widespread and dense overnight with visibilities dropping to 1/4 mile or less. A Dense Fog Advisory will likely be needed over the next few hours.

Congaree River At Carolina Eastman affecting Richland, Calhoun and Lexington Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Congaree River at Carolina Eastman. * WHEN...Until late Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 115.0 feet, Flooding occurs in low lying areas of the Carolina Eastman Facility and at the Congaree National Park. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:25 PM EST Monday the stage was 116.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 114.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:25 PM EST Monday was 118.8 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning to 113.6 feet early Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 115.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Congaree River At Carolina Eastman affecting Richland, Calhoun and Lexington Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Congaree River at Congaree National Park-Gadsden. * WHEN...Until Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Flooding begins in the Congaree National Park. This will begin to produce flooding of portions of the lower boardwalk. At 17.0 feet, The access road to the Sandy Run subdivision becomes flooded. The lower boardwalk in the Congaree National Park becomes flooded by Cedar Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM EST Monday the stage was 16.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM EST Monday was 16.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
