...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Wisconsin...Illinois... Fox River Lower Near New Munster affecting Lake and Kenosha Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Fox River Lower near New Munster. * WHEN...Until tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Floodwaters begin to affect 77th St. in the Town of Wheatland. Floodwaters are near some homes along Riverside Dr, Shorewood Dr, and Highway W in the Village of Salem Lakes and Town of Wheatland areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 10.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.0 feet on 03/11/2020. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

If traveling this morning, remain aware of localized dense fog through about 8 am. It mainly extends from northeast Iowa into southwest and central Wisconsin, along and south of Interstate 90. Thickest fog and lowest visibilities reside in river valleys. The fog can rapidly reduce visibilities to 1/4 mile or less. Expect the fog to dissipate by 8 am. Slow down and have your headlights on if you encounter the fog.
