Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties. .Recent rainfall has caused water levels on the Minnesota River to continue to rise to minor flood stage near Morton. Unsettled pattern will bring additional rain chances over the next week. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Minnesota River at Morton. * WHEN...Until further notice. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1000 AM CDT Thursday, the stage was 21.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1000 AM CDT Thursday was 21.5 feet. - Forecast...River flooding may continue into next week. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 21.4 feet on 05/31/2004.
