Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strongest winds expected near Lake Superior.

* WHAT...Northeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected. * WHERE...Bayfield County. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Red Cliff Band. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. * WHEN...Until 1 AM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strongest winds expected near Lake Superior.

Dry conditions and gusty winds will lead to near critical fire weather conditions this afternoon. Easterly winds of 15 to 20 mph with gusts from 25 to 35 mph are forecast. Minimum relative humidity values of 20 to 30 percent are also expected. Together, these conditions could lead to the rapid spread of fires. Check burning restrictions and fire danger before burning. Dry conditions and breezy winds will lead to near critical fire weather conditions today. East winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts of 30 to 35 mph are forecast for this afternoon and early evening. Minimum relative humidity values of 22 to 30 percent are also expected. Together, these conditions could lead to the rapid spread of fires. Check burning restrictions and fire danger before burning.
