...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Washington... Stehekin River at Stehekin affecting Chelan County. .Warm temperatures will melt high mountain snowpack and increase river flows. For the Stehekin River...including Stehekin...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and forecast to continue. * WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, water inundates some properties and overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek culverts are beginning to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 AM PDT Thursday the stage was 21.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:30 AM PDT Thursday was 22.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to gradually recede through the next couple of days, dropping below flood stage by May 17. * WHAT...Low temperatures between 33 and 37 will result in frost formation. * WHERE...Metaline Falls, Wauconda, Colville, Sherman Pass, Republic, Orin-Rice Road, Winthrop, Northport, Newport, Inchelium, Twisp, Boulder Creek Road, Ione, Methow, Tiger, Metaline, Chewelah, Fruitland, Chesaw Road, Flowery Trail Road, Deer Park, Kettle Falls, Conconully, Springdale-Hunters Road, Mazama, Loup Loup Pass, and Highway 20 Wauconda Summit. * WHEN...From 2 AM to 8 AM PDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
