...LOCALLY DENSE FOG ACROSS INLAND PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA AND NORTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA EARLY THIS MORNING... Fog is reducing visibility to as low as around one quarter of a mile across much of the area this morning. There should be some slow improvement in visibility over the next few hours as a cold front moves through from the north.

...PATCHY DENSE FOG IN THE LOWER PIEDMONT THIS MORNING... Moist surface conditions persist ahead of a cold front slowly working through the Carolina and Georgia Piedmont this morning. Fog formed overnight in some areas, and a few spots will see visibility of less than a half mile. This fog should dissipate as the cold front sinks southward, bringing drier air to the Piedmont.
