Eastern Chester County in upstate South Carolina... * Until 1245 AM EDT. * At 950 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Fort Lawn, Richburg, Fishing Creek Reservoir and Edgemoor.

At 923 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Columbia, West Columbia, Irmo, Forest Acres, Dentsville, St. Andrews, Oak Grove, Highway 6 at Lake Murray Dam, Arcadia Lakes, Killian, Columbia International University, Harbison State Forest, Woodfield, Lake Carolina, Riverbanks Zoo, Blythewood, Cedar Creek Fire Station, Upper Richland Fire Station, Eau Claire and Seven Oaks. This includes the following highways... Interstate 126 between mile markers 0 and 3. Interstate 26 between mile markers 98 and 110. Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 61 and 75. Interstate 77 between mile markers 17 and 30.

Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
