At 631 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles northwest of Bushong, moving northeast at 75 mph. HAZARD...Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Council Grove, Alma, Eskridge, Maple Hill, McFarland, Paxico, Bushong, Dunlap, and Keene. This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 327 and 345.

Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * Locations impacted include... Oskaloosa, Perry, Lecompton, and Perry Lake. This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 189 and 194.
