Areas of fog, locally dense in spots, will impact the lakeshore areas of Ashtabula and Erie Counties through sunset. Motorists may encounter visibilities as low as a quarter mile or less at times. If driving, slow down and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

At 701 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Vienna Center, or 8 miles northwest of Sharon, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Cortland, Vienna Center, Girard, Vienna, Orangeville, Yankee Lake, Brookfield Center, and West Hill.

Flash Flood Warning issued May 5 at 6:36PM EDT until May 5 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Charleston WV

At 636 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen from prior thunderstorms that moved over the area. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by prior thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... mainly rural areas of South Central Gallia and East Central Lawrence Counties
