* WHAT...Temperatures as low as 32 will result in frost formation. * WHERE...In Minnesota, Carlton, South and Central St. Louis, Cook and Lake Counties. In Wisconsin, Price, Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas, Iron, and Sawyer Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Bois Forte Band, Lake Vermilion area, the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, the Fond du Lac Band, the Grand Portage Reservation, the Bad River Reservation, the Red Cliff Band and the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band. Other locations including Madeline Island and the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. This also includes the Boundary Waters eastern and central area. * WHEN...From 1 AM to 8 AM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

High water continues across portions of the far eastern Rainy River watershed due to the effects of runoff from heavy rains and snowmelt from late April into early May. * WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues. * WHERE...In Minnesota, Lake and St. Louis Counties. * WHEN...Until 345 PM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 126 PM CDT Tuesday, Minor flooding and high water levels are already occurring. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Oyster River, Ge-be-on-e-quet Creek, Horse River, Shohola Creek, Hustler River, Moose River, Jeanette Creek, Wolfpack Creek, Nugget Creek, Heritage Creek, Portage River, Range Line Creek and Legend Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Basswood Lake, northwestern Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, Lake Agnes, Crooked Lake, Fourtown Lake, Lac la Croix, Lac La Croix and Loon Lake. - Flood safety information can be found at www.weather.gov/safety/flood.
