Poor air quality may cause issues for people with respiratory problems.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued September 17 at 7:34PM CDT until September 17 at 7:45PM CDT by NWS Dodge City KS

At 733 PM CDT/633 PM MDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Leoti to near Hugoton, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. These severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of Hamilton, northern Morton and Stanton Counties.

At 630 PM MDT/730 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 miles east of Haigler to 10 miles northeast of Goodland to 7 miles south of Tribune, moving northeast at 70 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Trained Spotter. At 0625 PM MDT, estimated 60 mph winds were reported 13 miles northwest of Saint Francis. Benkelman around 640 PM MDT. Leoti, Levant, and Winona around 745 PM CDT. Russell Springs around 750 PM CDT. Colby, Atwood, and Stratton around 755 PM CDT.
