Water is near homes in the Blackhawk Park area of Portage on the south side of the river along Old River Road. Floodwaters are over West Lake Road and Blackhawk Road in the Blackhawk Park area. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 17.2 feet this evening.
