...FIRE WEATHER WATCH FOR FWZ 433, 435, AND 436 DUE TO LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND GUSTY WINDS... The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zone 435. Fire weather zone 436. Fire weather zone 433. * WIND...West to northwest winds 25 to 35 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH possible * HUMIDITY...13 to 18 percent. * IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* WHAT...Early morning temperatures as cold as around 35 degrees could support frost development. * WHERE...Portions of north central Kansas and central and south central Nebraska, including the Tri Cities. * WHEN...Until 9 AM CDT this morning. * IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...For much of the Advisory area, the threat for frost this morning will likely be somewhat patchy in nature, and mainly favor sheltered and low-lying areas. The overall-most favored counties for perhaps more widespread frost include Dawson, Sherman, Buffalo, Gosper, Phelps and Kearney.
