At 458 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Chesterfield, or 16 miles west of Cheraw, moving north at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Chesterfield, Ruby, Mount Croghan, Bay Springs Fire Station, Chesterfield Detention Center, and Chesterfield Ruby Middle School.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Savannah River near Clyo. * WHEN...Until Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 13.3 feet, one foot of water covers Tom Goethe Road just after the pavement ends. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 915 AM EDT Tuesday, the stage was 12.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Friday morning and continue falling to 8.2 feet Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
