THE NEW WATCH IS VALID FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN KANSAS THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 2 COUNTIES IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS BOURBON CRAWFORD IN MISSOURI THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 17 COUNTIES IN CENTRAL MISSOURI CAMDEN HICKORY PULASKI IN EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI PHELPS IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI DENT TEXAS IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI BARTON CEDAR DADE DALLAS GREENE LACLEDE POLK WEBSTER WRIGHT IN WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI ST. Neosho River at Oswego affecting Labette and Cherokee Counties. ...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in Kansas... Neosho River near Parsons affecting Labette and Neosho Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River at Oswego. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, The left bank begins to overflow and floods agricultural fields. Also, the dirt county road, 13000 Road, along the north side of the river bank starts to flood at 1.5 miles downstream of gage site where the bridge crosses Lightning Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 16.4 feet and rising. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 17.5 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
