Flash Flood Warning issued July 26 at 9:55PM MST until July 26 at 11:45PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ

At 954 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain has ended. Runoff from earlier heavy rain will continue to cause flooding along Dry Creek. HAZARD...Life-threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life-threatening flash flooding of low-water crossings, creeks, normally dry washes and roads. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sedona, Palatki Heritage Site, Yavapai College - Sedona Center, Red Rock State Park and Red Rock-Secret Mountain Wilderness. This includes State Route 89A between mile markers 366 and 371. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Oak Creek and Dry Creek.

Red Flag Warning

Red Flag Warning issued July 26 at 12:38PM PDT until July 27 at 8:00PM PDT by NWS Las Vegas NV

Increasing south to southwest winds on Saturday combined with dry conditions will lead to critical fire conditions Saturday late morning through the evening in western Arizona. The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM to 8 PM MST Saturday. * AFFECTED AREA...In AZZ102...Fire weather zone 102. * TIMING...Saturday from 11 AM MST through 8 PM MST. * WIND...South to southwest at 15 to 20 MPH with gusts up to 30 MPH. * HUMIDITY...10 to 15 percent. * IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
