* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of south central Nebraska, including the following county, Hall. * WHEN...Until 445 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At midnight CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Southern portions of the advisory area have been upgraded to a Flash Flood Warning. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Wood River, Alda and Prosser.

At 1130 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles south of Wellfleet to 9 miles north of McCook. Movement was northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Curtis, Eustis, Moorefield, Stockville, Medicine Creek Reservoir, Maywood, Quick, Willow View Campground, Freedom, Orafino, Red Willow Reservoir State Recreation Area. This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 27 and 52.
