Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... At 1130 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles south of Wellfleet to 9 miles north of McCook. Movement was northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Curtis, Eustis, Moorefield, Stockville, Medicine Creek Reservoir, Maywood, Quick, Willow View Campground, Freedom, Orafino, Red Willow Reservoir State Recreation Area. This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 27 and 52.
