Cape Fear River At William O Huske Lock And Dam 3 affecting Bladen and Cumberland Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Cape Fear River at William O Huske Lock And Dam 3. * WHEN...From Friday evening to early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 45.0 feet, Flood waters will affect lowlands along the east bank of the river with some minor overflow along the west bank. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM EST Thursday the stage was 37.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow evening to a crest of 43.9 feet early Saturday afternoon. Isolated, shallow flows over roadways is possible. A few flood-prone, low-water crossings may become impassible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 734 PM EST, Runoff from last night's heavy rainfall continues to result in flooding of low-lying areas of the Mud and Bat Fork Creek drainages. The following streamgauge has exceeded Action/Advisory Stage, resulting in nuisance flooding along Mud Creek... ID: MNMN7 NAME: at N Main St, 1 N Hendersonville CURRENT STAGE: 13.05 feet ACTION/ADVISORY STAGE: 11.5 feet MINOR FLOOD STAGE: 14.0 feet TREND: Falling Slowly Mud Creek crested at 13.37 feet. IMPACTS: Common, nuisance flooding of low-lying areas adjacent to Mud Creek is ongoing. The lowest elevations of William H King Memorial Park will flood and floodwaters are approaching the lowest elevations of the Oklawaha Greenway.
