Lee Creek near Van Buren affecting Crawford and Sequoyah Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Lee Creek near Van Buren. * WHEN...Until this evening. * IMPACTS...At 399.0 feet, faster flows are expected along the river but no flooding occurs. Interests near the river, Tailwater Park, and the recreational vehicle campground should continue to monitor later forecasts. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:18 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 400.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is has crested at 400.1 feet early this morning, which is in action stage. Backwater from the Arkansas River may affect low lying areas near the first few miles of the Mulberry River. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 8.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to continue rising to a crest of 10.0 feet this morning, which is right at action stage.
