...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR NORTH AND WEST FACING SHORES OF NIIHAU KAUAI OAHU MOLOKAI AND ALSO FOR NORTH FACING SHORES OF MAUI AND WEST FACING SHORES OF THE BIG ISLAND... .A large west-northwest swell will bring advisory level surf along exposed north and west facing shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, north facing shores of Maui and west facing shores of the Big Island today. Surf heights will begin to trend downwards this afternoon. * WHAT...Surf heights of 15 to 20 feet along north facing shores. Surf heights of 8 to 12 feet along west facing shores, except 7 to 10 feet along west facing shores of the Big Island. * WHERE...North and west facing shores of Niihau, Kauai and Oahu. West facing shores of the Big Island. * WHEN...Until 6 PM HST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming and surfing dangerous.
