Ice accumulations of a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Portions of northeast Georgia and western North Carolina. * WHEN...From 6 AM Wednesday to noon EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Snow and ice accumulations will make some roads treacherous and impassable. The weight of the snow and ice on tree limbs and power lines could produce isolated outages. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.

With the flooding of Gooseneck Lane. residents are cutoff from reaching their homes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:45 AM EST Tuesday the stage was 19.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 20.4 feet early Thursday morning. Minor flooding continues in the woodlands near the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:00 PM EST Tuesday the stage was 18.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.9 feet this afternoon.
