At 535 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 24 miles southwest of Kingston, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, moderate rain and possibly pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Storms are passing over the Reese River Valley area in NW Nye county. These storms are expected to produce rain and possibly small hail that could make its way into the Reese River in the Yomba Tribal Council area. The Reese River currently has a high flow in this area, with the concern being that any additional rain or runoff of rain from the nearby mountains could increase the flow on the Reese River, which may impact the bridge near Yomba Tribal Council along NF-118. Locations impacted include... Berlin Ichthyosaur SP, Reese River Valley, Ione, and Arc Dome.
