The next statement will be issued Tuesday evening at 1000 PM CST. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Sabine River near Deweyville. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding will occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM CST Monday the stage was 24.4 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:45 PM CST Monday was 24.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood stage at 24.4 feet. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Pearl River Near Pearl River affecting St. Tammany, Hancock and Pearl River Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pearl River near Pearl River. * WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Secondary roads to the river and throughout Honey Island Swamp are inundated. Property in the vicinity of the gage is flooded threatening about 20 homes along the left bank. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CST Monday the stage was 14.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning and continue falling to 10.4 feet Thursday, March 07. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.3 feet on 05/25/2021. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
