At 628 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Grayson, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Grayson. This includes Interstate 64 in Kentucky between mile markers 165 and 174.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Kentucky, including the following counties, McCreary and Whitley. * WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 559 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... McKinneysburg, Falmouth, Browning Corner, Neave, Kincaid Lake State Park, Lenoxburg, Berlin, Catawba, Milford, Petra, Powersville and Santa Fe. This includes areas along the North Fork Licking River in Bracken County.
