At 702 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Sauk City, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Madison, Middleton, Waunakee, Windsor, Prairie Du Sac, Sauk City, Lake Wisconsin, Deforest, Cross Plains, Lodi, Mazomanie, Shorewood Hills, Maple Bluff, Dane, Camp Randall Stadium, Morrisonville, Henry Vilas Zoo, Marxville, and UW-Madison.

At 657 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms from 7 miles southwest of Pulaski, or 16 miles southeast of Shawano, to 3 miles north of Appleton moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Appleton, Kaukauna, Little Chute, Kimberly, Black Creek, Oneida, Combined Locks, Angelica, Bonduel, and Navarino.

Scattered thunderstorms will continue to push across portions of western Wisconsin through the early evening hours. Hail up to one half inch and gusty winds 35 to 45 mph may accompany the stronger storms. The storms will decrease in coverage as the evening wears on.

For the Yellow River...including Pittsville, Babcock...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Yellow River at Babcock. * WHEN...Through early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, flooding is confined mainly to agricultural, wooded lowland, and marshes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 12.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:00 PM CDT Monday was 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.1 feet this evening.
