For the Lower Humboldt...including Battle Mountain...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Humboldt River at Battle Mountain. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Minor to moderate lowland flooding throughout the reach. Some rural roads near the river begin to flood. Very minor flooding begins in Winnemucca with storm drain backups, and the lowest parts of town begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:15 PM PDT Sunday the stage was 9.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening and continue rising to 10.2 feet early Thursday morning.
