Flash Flood Warning issued May 25 at 12:00AM EDT until May 25 at 1:45AM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At midnight EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Morgantown, Cassville, Georgetown, Booth, Everettville, Crown and Core.

Flash Flood Warning issued May 24 at 11:18PM EDT until May 25 at 1:00AM EDT by NWS Charleston WV

At 1118 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the heaviest of the rain has ended across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are still possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Emergency management reported a road closure near the intersection of Gawthrop Road and Route 50 due to flooding, but that some high water was already beginning to recede.
