The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Peak snowfall rates around a half inch per hour are expected late afternoon through the evening, roughly between 4PM and midnight.

Snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches and ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch. * WHERE...Lenawee, Monroe, Washtenaw, and Wayne Counties. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow this afternoon is expected to transition to a wintry mix early evening into early tonight, with the heaviest precipitation rates occurring during this window mainly between 10PM and 2AM. Snow and ice accumulation may vary significantly over relatively short distances depending on the degree freezing rain is able to become the predominate precip type within the wintry mix.

Snow accumulations between 5 and 8 inches. * WHERE...The Thumb and eastern portions of southeast Michigan. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates around a half inch per hour are expected from late afternoon through this evening, roughly 4PM and 11PM. Snowfall rates in excess of 1 inch per hour are possible late this evening into early tonight, roughly 11PM to 3AM.
