* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas, including the following areas, Bourbon, Cherokee and Crawford and Missouri, including the following areas, Barry, Barton, Benton, Camden, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Hickory, Jasper, Laclede, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, Ozark, Polk, St. Clair, Stone, Taney, Vernon, Webster and Wright. * WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers with rainfall rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour are expected on Sunday which may lead to flash flooding in urban and low-lying areas. Big Blue River near Blue Rapids affecting Marshall County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Big Blue River near Blue Rapids. * WHEN...Until early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs from Marysville to Tuttle Creek Lake. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 26.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 21.1 feet Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

Salt Creek near Ada affecting Ottawa County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Salt Creek near Ada. * WHEN...Until early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Minor low land flooding along the Salt Creek. At 20.0 feet, 50th Road just south of the bridge over the Salt Creek floods. At 20.2 feet, Deck of 50th Road bridge over the Salt Creek floods. At 21.0 feet, Flood waters are over one half mile wide over cultivated farm land 3 miles east southeast of the town of Ada. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 14.0 feet Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
