Flood Advisory issued June 19 at 2:29AM CDT until June 19 at 8:30AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of northeast Kansas, including the following county, Doniphan and northwest Missouri, including the following counties, Andrew, Atchison, Holt and Nodaway. * WHEN...Until 830 AM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 229 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Maryville, Mound City, Highland, Oregon, Maitland, Skidmore, Forest City, Craig, Fillmore, White Cloud, Graham, Big Lake, Arkoe, Leona, Fortescue, Bigelow and Iowa Point. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
