Flood Advisory issued April 12 at 11:20AM EDT until April 12 at 8:15PM EDT by NWS Buffalo NY

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of western New York, including the following county, Monroe. * WHEN...Until 815 PM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying areas, especially in Ellison Park. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1114 AM EDT, gauge reports indicated recent heavy rain between 1 and 1.25 inches has already fallen. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will add to the swollen creek resulting in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... East Branch Ausable River At Ausable Forks affecting Essex and Clinton Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...East Branch Ausable River at Ausable Forks. * WHEN...Until late this evening. * IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Minor flooding can occur in Keene. Water begins to overflow onto Hulls Falls Road, Route 73, and Route 9N near Marcy Field. High water will impact interests at Alice Falls near Keeseville. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:25 AM EDT Friday the stage was 6.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning and crest at 7.4 feet early this afternoon.
