* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines and St. Bernard. * WHEN...Until 815 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 647 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... New Orleans, Belle Chasse, Timberlane, Chalmette, Harvey, Terrytown, Meraux, Arabi, Violet, Poydras and Woodmere. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of southwest Louisiana, including the following parishes, East Cameron and West Cameron and southeast Texas, including the following areas, Lower Jefferson, Southern Orange and Upper Jefferson. * WHEN...Through Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas... Louisiana... Sabine River Near Deweyville Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued Saturday morning at 1130 AM CDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Sabine River near Deweyville. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Lowest roads beside the river flood around Deweyville and subject to being closed. In addition, low-lying roads in Southwest Beauregard Parish are flooded including Robert Clark Road. Flooding occurs on the south side of Niblett Bluff Park with access roads to camp houses cut off around the park. Access roads to the river in Northeastern Orange County become flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 24.8 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:45 AM CDT Friday was 24.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.2 feet early Monday morning. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

The next statement will be issued Saturday morning at 1130 AM CDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Calcasieu River near White Oak Park. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 2.0 feet, Minor flooding of Goos Ferry Road will occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:35 AM CDT Friday the stage was 1.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue rising to a crest of 2.2 feet tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 2.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

The next statement will be issued Saturday morning at 1130 AM CDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Calcasieu River near Glenmora. * WHEN...From late tonight to Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, When the river is falling and the gauge reading is forecast to be near 12 feet, flooding of forested areas near the river will occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 11.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.0 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
