* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...Portions of east central Kansas, including the following county, Linn and west central Missouri, including the following counties, Bates and Cass. * WHEN...Until 715 AM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 712 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Raymore, Harrisonville, Pleasant Hill, Peculiar, Adrian, Pleasanton, La Cygne, Mound City, Archie, Drexel, Linn Valley, Freeman, Hume, East Lynne, Prescott, Lake Annette, Amsterdam, Amoret, Strasburg and Foster. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Flooding is already occurring. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Neosho River near Parsons affecting Labette and Neosho Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River near Parsons. * WHEN...Until tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Flood waters spread over fields to a distance of 1 and one fourth miles. Several county roads, mainly along the left bank are inundated. Several residents which live along the right bank in the vicinity of Highway 400 may experience water entering their homes at basement levels. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 21.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage this evening and continue falling to 10.2 feet early Tuesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

Neosho River near Parsons affecting Labette and Neosho Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River at Oswego. * WHEN...Until early Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 22.5 feet, Riverside Park Drive floods from east of Xavier St, just south of the river gage bridge, to 100 yards east towards the water plant. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 22.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning and continue falling to 8.5 feet early Tuesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

At 29.0 feet, Stateline Road is flooded north of the river gauge. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:46 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 29.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this evening and continue falling to 9.9 feet Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 27.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
