* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches. * WHERE...Northern Erie and Southern Erie Counties. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lake effect snow bands will persist and be the main concern for the rest of the event through tonight as wind gusts slowly diminish. The strong gusty winds and density of the large snowpack across Northwest Pennsylvania could result in damage to structures.

* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional accumulations of a coating to two inches. * WHERE...McKean and Warren Counties. * WHEN...Until 8 PM EST this evening. * IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute.
