At 920 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Venus to near Italy. Movement was northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Dallas, Grand Prairie, Desoto, Cedar Hill, Lancaster, Waxahachie, Ennis, Midlothian, Glenn Heights, Red Oak, Hutchins, Alvarado, Wilmer, Ovilla, Venus, Ferris, Palmer, Italy, Oak Leaf, and Maypearl. This includes the following highways... Interstate 35E between mile markers 378 and 418. Interstate 20 between mile markers 466 and 475. Interstate 45 between mile markers 244 and 278.

Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 903 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. Seagoville, Crandall, and Combine around 900 PM CDT. Talty around 915 PM CDT. Kaufman around 920 PM CDT. Terrell around 930 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Heartland, Rand, Ola, Post Oak Bend City, Trumbull, Lawrence, Elmo, Oak Grove, Scurry, and Sand Branch. This includes the following highways...
